Theme of the Penafrancia 2023:
“Journeying with Ina in deepening our relationship with God in this challenging times.”

Our Lady of Peñafrancia (Spanish: Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia) is an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Philippines. The Marian image is permanently enshrined in the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Peñafrancia in Naga, Camarines Sur.

Date: Third Saturday of September

Events: Novena to the Divino Rostro or “The Divine Face”, Traslación, Novena to the Our Lady of Peñafrancia, Parades and celebrations, Fluvial Procession and Festival Sunday

“I will promote Bicol as a global community. As we are progressing towards a more progressive city, Bicol Region right now has a lot to offer. It’s a melting pot of cultures in Bicol, especially here in Naga City. We have a lot of excellent educational institutions. We have now opened our doors to international trade and industry and we also have the presence of different religions, different traditions, and different beliefs.
